hey guys, just bought my first bmw a few weeks ago and i dont think ill ever buy a different make of car again. its awesome. its a 93 325 coupe 120,000ks, sunroof elecs, chicks start frothing at the mouth over it heh love it. but have a few lil probs like
i) sunroof doesnt pop up into the vent position. when i switch it into postioin the liner moves back and it tries to pop up but doesnt. i can push it up with my hand but it drops straight back down.
ii) "Check brake circuit" error pops up occasionally but all my lights werk. im thinking it may be a bad connection some where.
iii) windscreen wipers r dodge. on the passenger side the stabiliser bar under the covers is snapped off. gives that side quite a bit of play. and every time i open my bonnet the wiper arms take off as much paint as they can. they r original bmw wipers and i have tried adjusting them in all positions but no use.
any help will be great.

can't help you with any of your problems, except maybe the brake light one. I'd try opening the trunk and taking out and putting back in every bulb, just to make sure teh connections are snug.

I really hope you enjoy your car, god knwos I have! they don't call them the "Ultimate Driving Machine" for nothing you know.

first off... to the forums.. glad to hear u love your car...

the first problem u can find, if u do a search, using the "search" feature at the bottom of the page... that will help u find many of your answers...

as to your second problem... u have to change the brake light curcuit under your dash, thats what's causing it to pop up...

third, i have no idea what your walking about... maybe if u can explain more, ,maybe i could help... sorry

The Check brake circuit is due to the brake switch under the brake pedal. There is a DIY somewhere in the forum.
I took mine to my mechanic and he switched out the part, and the error has been gone ever since.
I dont really know what to say about the other errors...
