sorry guys...quick question...i need a quick DIY or something on how to debaffle my 328is air box. thanx! i just wanna do something to my car w/o spending money. some pix would be very helpful. maybe some w/ some paint n such. if anyone has time..that would be sweet
maybe this will give you an idea the pics are gone.. but it pretty much says what to do with taking out part of it and or cutting... so yeah hope this helps!
thanx dude. i did it a whole 3 hp gain...actually nothing too noticable. i tired to listen hard for the noise,i noticed it a little bit but i didnt really make it out over my exhaust. thanks again
yeah im doing running start, i go half time to mtbaker highschool and half at whatcom community college.... you thinking about going on the toy run i know its far for you but we leave from seattle 9:30 sunday.. its going to be a blast! anyways ill be in yakima for state basketball again this year! we should meet up for sure!

3 HP for debaffling the airbox? First I've heard of that. Is this really true? I noticed a slight improvement in high end power, but I also switched out my very old and dirty stock filter for a K&N. That combo might get you 3hp, but only because of the K&N--if I'm not mistaken. BTW my wife's from near the U in Seattle--think it's called Lakeside...

:P no dude...i was joking about the 3hp. i really donno and i really dont care. i just did it for something to do. dont quote me on it. like i said earlier, i can hear it a little easier, but it is hard for me to hear cuz of my exhaust. gains, if any 1-3hp. and dave...seattle is somewhat outa the way for me so ya plus i think my family is thinking about xmas tree hunting. ill ttu
