new speakers

on my harmon kardon system..the mids blew(the ones on the door with the HK grill on em) it sounds HORRIBLE. dealership wants 98 bucks EACH. anywhere else i can get oem replacement ones for a cheap price. problem is with the size of these speakers places like car toys and others don't have exact matches..also, how do i take them out of the door? do i have to take the door panel off? or can i just pop em out? thanks!

there are screws that hold them in, so don't try to rip them out...

if it bothers you a lot.. just disconnect them for the time being

u have to take off the door panle to put in the speaker(S)

ill take pics of where the screws are and post it...also be careful of the white clips that hold the door in...they break easy...even though u can live without having all of them intact...

You may even find not much difference with them disconnected, since they don't do much to begin with. It's really the tweeters that do most of the work.

I've got the regular 8 speaker system and I blew all 4 of my tweets, but I think I blew them so hard that they don't make *ANY* noise anymore
my mids work just fine tho
