I have this bad shake in my steering wheel, i can actually feel it on my front passenger side tire while driving. I had to shops look at the problem and both told me the same thing. To make a long story short.. Last week i had (2) control arm bushings, (1) passenger front tie rod, (2) sway bar links and a new set of tires installed. And i still have this shake.. So i brought it back to the shop. After they looked at it again they said they felt the shake but couldnt locate anything wrong with the front passenger tire/wheel. They told me i need to bring it to a brake shop because my ABS light is on and believes my brakes are not releasing all the way?? I did change my brake pads this summer but no rotors. Does this make any sense & do anyone have any suggestions. Oh and to top it off. For some reason they rolled my window down and it all of a sudden won't roll up. I live in wisconsin and its cold & snowy..
just put it in the hole and turn, it will bring the window up.
if you do not have the tool and cannot wait for bavauto to ship it, then pull the door card off and detatch the window motor and manually pull the window up, reconect motor, then don't play with it.
I had same prob with shakes but the problem were the wheels, aluminium wheels are not that strong.

not sure where it would be on your car...sorry. you might have to take the door card off.
another possible problem is you hit your window button on accident, my e30 has it on the radio area, your's should be under the steering wheel...
sorry mang, hate to say this but it's time you call your dealership and ask them where how to do the window, also explain the vibration issue, they might be able to give you a free quote....
