I am looking at a 1994 325is automatic with 101,000 miles. She looks and drives like new. All that said, the car is with a broker who has no history on the car other than a clean carfax. So - what major maintenance should have been completed on this car by now that I should be aware of? For example:

Timing belts? Water pump? Other?

Anything I should be alert to about this model?

If I have no history, what should I do to the car on day 1?

My biggest thing would be change the oil. I would also check all fluids and inspect all the belts.

Fluids & belts would be a good start.....

No timing belt......Cooling systems are problematic......water pump if original has plastic propeller , thermostat & thermostat housing (plastic) cracks, replace with cast aluminum, radiator housing upper hose inlet (plastic) cracks @ about 100,000 miles,

Auto Trans Service, Filter & Fluid Replacement.......

Rear Suspension, the rear trailing bushings fail & also the rear upper shock mounts fail.......
