Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I posted in the new members section also so if you want to know more just look there.

I'm looking to buy a 96-99 328is Manual trans... hopefully black with tan or white leather.

i have found some around the area for around 9-12 thousand.

Let me know what to guys think about my choice? I currently drive a Honda Civic With a Integra GSR engine in it... I did the swap myself so I am quite savy with cars.

Making the switch because:

1. I Love BMWs
2. I now work for BMW
3. I'm getting older and want a car with more luxurious features yet still strong and powerful with many tuning options.
4. Did i mention that i love BMW?

welcome to bimmerwerkz. well, as far as 328, 9-12 K is alot to work with, for that price, u can pretty much pick up a m3....

what exactly is the difference between the M3 and 328is exactly.. i know the engine is different (off the top of my head a M50 and s20 engines) i might be off on the numbers... but is the suspension the same or different.. and same for the drivetrain on the two, is the M3 closer ratio-ed?

m3 is way different...

motors are 3.0 (S50) for 95's 3.2 for 96 - 99 (S52). Sturdier bushings, larger sways, better suspension, basically faster, better handling, larger brakes, and nice bumpers haha

haha love how you added the nice bumpers... i totally agree though esp the M3 front bumper.. theres just something about it that makes it look oh so sexy
