I just bought a 97 328is to relieve my Miata from daily driver duties. The Miata was just becoming too much of a track car to be comfortable everyday. I used this forum for shopping advise. So far I couldn't be happier, Thanx. No pictures yet of the new ride but here are a couple of the Miata if you're so inclined.

Thanks for the props. The Miata and BMW definitely share some DNA. But the 328 is so much nicer for daily drives. I had started to wear ear plugs in the Miata if I was driving for more than an hour. :

The road in the first pic is Thunder Hill Raceway in Willows, Ca.

List of mods on the Miata include:
Racing Beat intake, Jackson Racing header, Borla cat back exaust, Tien Flex coilovers, Kosei K1-TS wheels with Victoracers for the track, Racing Beat front sway, Mazdaspeed competition bushings, Hard Dog roll bar, Spec stage 2 clutch with ultralight aluminum flywheel, Upgraded brakes with braided stainless lines and ceramic pads, Type 2 Torsen differential, UltraShield Road Rally seat and US 6 point harness, tons of blingy chrome crap and of course the front end. Its the uber-rare Aizawa cold air induction front end. Its one of 10 in the states.
Soon to come Flyin' Miata FM2 turbo kit with Track Dog racing intercooler. Its sitting in my kitchen right now. I had to get another car so I would be free to tinker and not worry about what I was going to drive.

No Pics of the 328, I dropped my camera a couple weeks ago and it didn't like that.

That car sounds stiff. At least you know where the fun's at! Try taking pics anyway. We'll just photoshop it so it looks cool. Because your camera's broke. My camera sucks.

Sounds like you have great taste in cars, as well as know how to mod them. I am glad to hear that you are not disappointed, but then again, with a bimmer how could you be?

I just saw that you are in Chicago. Here are some pics you might enjoy. They are from my vacation this summer. I had my car out in your area running Blackhawk Farms with my Dad and brother. I'll be running a Spec Miata out there with the MidWest Council next summer.
