run the wires under the carpet seperating the Amp power wire from the rest like power wire on passenger's side and the rest of the wires on the driver's side. all the way to the back then wire your amp and sub. Ive had numerous sound systems in my M3. They all install the same. and i've like them all for the reasons i installed them. I recommend using a deck hanging sub box such as the ones from BSW or elemental designs.
