New gears in a auto?

ive seen my friend put new 4 10 gears in his minivan for pulling i was wondering if i could put new gears for better off the line in my auto?

If you're going to be spending that kind of money you should just get a manual...

For 1/4, auto is more consistent, you dont need to upgrade auto trany to get a better launch then manual.

You're never gonna get a good launch with an auto without either a) the gnarliest brake stand in history or b ) a neutral drop (which will make your engine cry).

c) a high stall torque converter

Um you could go for the differential out of a 318 manual or auto. I can't remember the ratio for it.

if he has a 318 auto he really cant get a better gear ratio. If he has a 32X then he can't swap the 318 diff. It is a different shap, needs a different subframe and a different size drive shaft, among other things.
