hey guys, im new to the forum. i have been a search to find a car. and i came across some nice E36 BMW's. just wondering, i dont have one yet, but any of you have any suggestions on models... any recomendations or warnings?

i dont know much about the E36 so if you guys would help, id appreciate it.

First off welcome to our humble community.

It really depends on what you're aiming for. If you're trying to keep the price down and drive a bmw (feel, handling, looks) go for the 318i. 325i and 328i are more powerful cars (the last 2 digits represent the liters of the engine, eg: 328i is a 2.8L straight 6) but usually a bit more pricey. 330i is probably my favorite. It's very quick, and looks, feels, and handles amazingly. I have a 328i and love it, but there are many 318i people in this forum that swear by them. I would say test drive each of them and see which fits you best. No matter which you choose, you won't be disappointed.

First off, BMW's are basically one of the MOST RELIABLE CARS out there... they will last forever, recently we were talking about how long they last, we had a bmw with 220k miles... WHICH IS REALL GOOD... anyways, if u are short of cash, then a bmw maybe isn't right for you, because when u buy a used car, you buy other peoples problems.. if u have the money to throw down for a 1 or 2 shot deal, THEN GO FOR IT... BMW has whatever you want, POWER, LUXURY, SPORT, it all depends on the buyer/driver, GOOD LUCK eith whatever car u decide on getting!!
