I just used a flat head screwdriver and a small towel/rag. Fold and put the rag next to the emblem and use the screw driver over top the rag, to lift the emblem as you move all the way around. When you go all the way around it should be pretty easy to just pull it out of the two sockets on the hood/trunk .
I messed up my paint using a screwdriver wrapped around in electrical tape. I then decided to use a power drill. I drilled on the roundel emblem itself, just in case if I messed somethigng up, it would be the paint covered by the new emblem. After I got a perforation made, I used some pliers and just pulled it out.

yea be careful i taped a screwdriver up and went prying all around the roundel. then when i finally got it off i found that i put some small scratches in the edges of the car itself. So just be cautious when doing this and take your time. hope everything works out well
WOW, you guys went all out trying to get off the emblem. I remember how I used to steal honda signs when I was little, I used a credit card. Then I read around and found that you had to use a flathead so I used a credit card and pulled up the emblem alittle, then I stuck the flathead on top of the credit card while it was pryed up a little; then popped it up. Its a fairly simple process, left no scratches on my trunk or hood, Remember to clean the space before you put on the emblem though, Mine was really dirty. Hope that helps.
