Hey guys just got home from a nice road trip to pick up my 92 325i let me just say it was well worth selling my 91 318is and driving 8 1/2 hours to get this. I must say the power and torge is so much more fun the car handles great but when starting out there is a slight hesitation and as you streach out the gears with it wot its like it goes in stages when picking up speep so I don't know if thats a common thing or what, any tips or trick to thing would greatly appricated. I am going to try running some fuel injector cleaner through it and a new fuel filter cause lord know when that was last changed!

cool man any pictures yet? and yes you should do a light tuneup to make sure that all is up to date, (plugs, air filter, oil and filter, run some high grade gas, and maybe the fuel filter)

Check water pump thermostat and housing.

looking pretty nice.. yeah i would say change the fuel filter and stuff... and i found that sometimes if you scarce for the medium grade (aka my dad filling the car up...) the car will hesitate in accelerating as the rpms rise... but none the less nice looking ride... like the plate also...

whats realy funny about the plate the questions I get from people "isn't that spelled wrong?" and then I have to educate them lol

Akron OH took about 8 1/2 hours to get it but was well worth it

Hi there,

I'm new to this place as well and just bought a bimmer exactly like yours, same model and year; 92 325i w/ M50 inline 6.

I noticed some of the same issues that you had with yours, it seemed to have great power but starting out lagged a bit and the power curve seemed to be a bit less at times.

I was wondering if you did anything to your s and what results you had.

I looked at the plugs on my, they were fine, checked air filter, and a few other things but nothing really seemed to be off.

Let me what you got going on with yours?

PS: Black is a nice color for this year and model, or red like mine =).

haven't realy done anything yet just ran some injector cleaner through it and been putting premium gas in it and it seems to get a little better I am going to put a new fuel filter in it and do a hot soak on it when I get the time
