New Custom Intake Heatshield

as promised from an earlier thread, here's the custom intake ;D its made up of stainless steel - but i'm considering some changes aesthetically! more of that later on this month . . . but for now - here are the pics

aside from shielding out the heat from the induction process, the sound of the filter sounds much better and aggressive as compared to before without it

thanks regarding the AA Tuning design, i'm getting the vent idea from them but utilizing the ///M stripes. I will use mesh to cover the stripes and paint them in the ///M colors :P that will look real neat.

Eh, I don't know about M stripes on it. You'll probably be ridiculed.

looks real nice, i always wanted to make a heat shield for mine when i had my bimmer, i had a bmp design intake, the filter on it was HUGE! but sounded so damn sexy

Oh! So the cardboard from last time was just to get measurements/basic shape? It all makes sense now. Looks pretty nice
