new clutch, throw out bering, etc...creaking noise???

previous owner put new clutch, pressure plate, throw out berring, slave drive, and bleed it down. i went to see the car the first time it was up on the lift getting these parts installed. seen it was legit in going in....

now i have zero slippage, no burnt clutch smell, all seems good except in first gear when taking off (and in reverse ) i get this creaking noise..best way to describe it is like a old rocking chair or maybe a door slowly closing that creaks...

no ill effects besides that noise...clutch has 250 miles on it (thats how many i put on it since i bought it)..

any ideas on what it is? car downshifts fine, up shifts fine. no grinding noise..like i said ONLY that creaking noise while taking off in first or backing up.

ok paid better attention to it in a ride just now, sound is more like when someone taste something and they go "mmmmm"...(i know ha ha). well sounds like that! or even like when a chainsaw is being tried to start but doesnt it makes that mmmm sound....same thing as my clutch..

my suggestion would be that the clutch pedal bushings are not lubed and they are creaking or groaning when the pedal is pressed. some carefully aimed spray lubricant to the pedal pivot bushings (see your choice of fiche for location above the pedal) may cure the noise. some lube on the return spring above the pedal wouldn't hurt, either. To apply, you need to take out the three screws that secure the trim panel beneath the dash. Move panel left and back to access the pedal area.
