my dad just got me a 95 325i we havn't picked it up yet but i will take some pics as soon as we do if u remeber i asked about a car that was on ebay a while back well it turns out my dad bought it and suprised me with it i will post pics when we get it what were your first mods when u guys got your cars all i have been doing so far is working on my friends but he has down all of stuff to it so i don't know what to do first
My first mods were to install a OEM exhaust pipe. There was a down pipe (end muffler) which made a lot of noise. For a short time this is cool/heavy/great/..... but when I was driving on highways, I've got a splitting headache from that ******* noise.
What I should do first is to install a K&N filter or CAI, and no other things. Only when the car is not lowered, get some bilstein shocks and springs for doing this!

I plan on installing a Cold air intake soon then anew cat.
I agree, when I put in the chip I could definately feel a power increase. It works especially well with a CAI, so I would do that next. Other than that, get those wheeeeeels
yeah i read a bunch of stuff from active autowerke about how they made 600hp cars but the ae using water alchohal stuff i want to use gas. but if all i can get is 600hp with out NO2(that is an oximoron :P ) then i will have to resort to using nitrous but i think if i can get a massive engine built like a 3.3 or mabye bigger i could get like 340 hp like the new m3. then like 20psi or higher boost then new trans. rear diffrential so i don't rip out everything then u no like all the little stuff like cold air, exhaust etc. does any one us a AA exhaust or use their Track Pipe or know much about it? i was looking at it and it intruges me

What exactly do you mean by that? Don't use bilstein when the car is lowered? [/b][/quote]
Indeed, it's an unclear sentence. What I was meant, is that when the car is not lowered yet, get some bilsteins for lowering the car! There wasn't any pic of that car (still not), and I didn't know if the car was lowered.
[it's #*%$@# hard for me in english...... I usually speak/write dutch]
When the explanation above is not clear yet:
car is lowered --> nothing should be changed
car is not lowered --> get some bilsteins shocks and springs for lowering
