New Battery

Anywhere to buy a new battery besides the dealer? I don't see it on anyone's website????

i use interstate, its been pretty strong since ive had it (2 years at least). you dont always need OE batteries.

my BMW dealer said the OEM battery was crap and that I should use the Interstate MTP-91 battery. It has the vent port and it works well in my '94 325is. I would of rather gotton the Optima battery, but couldn't find one that would fit perfectly in my car!!

interstate & optima is a good brand. lightweight batterys by braille & dynabat are good.

Its a battery! As long as it fits and gives you power it doesnt matter. Some companies my last longer... but a battery is a battery.

for people like myself who have upgraded audio systems, a battery is much more than just a battery. also it helps to have a strong battery in the colder climates of upper north america. there are huge benifits to a better batterys.

Hence the reason i said "good power". Also, you shouldn't rely only on your battery for your sound system. You should have capacitor(s). That is the best way to keep your electrical system happy and your sound!

I use an optima.. but if your looking performance.. you can always get the lightweight battery... about 30pnds of weight savings...

I neglected to put in the original post that I was inquiring about an OEM battery - but most of you figured that out...but I appreciate the other recommendations...I hope this helps my slow starting problem
