needs a head gasket......or worse?? please help!!

hi people,
i really need your help.
i have a 325i coupe E36 which overheated on me the other day and lost alot of coolant (i stoped driving straight away). now, when i put coolant in the system and start the car (from cold), within a few mins it comes pouring out the rad just like when you take the cap off when its hot.
could this be head gasket, cracked head, waterpump?
there is no water mixing with the oil, or white smoke from the exhaust.
please help me if you can!

It sounds like the radiator- where is it coming from exactly? the radiator and thermostat housing are both plastic and can break easily. If there is no white smoke or coolant in the oil your head gasket may be ok, but keep and eye on things. also make sure you COMPLETELY bleed the cooling system of any air that may be in it. good luck-

I dont know, I had a similar problem, and no white smoke. I had everything changed from thermostat to radiator and waterpump, still the car would manage to overheat when parked. And antifreeze would start coming out the top from pressure. This pressure was created by the headgasket being shot. I had my engine resurfaced and head resurfaced, My head had to be rebuilt due to bad valves. 3 grand later, my car runs like new.
