So I got in my car to come home from work tonight and noticed the needle on my speedometer isn't properly lit. I am assuming its a light thats out I'm just wondering what the part number is for the light as there are a few diffrent lights for the dash area.
Call bavauto. They have a lot of stuff they can get for you that is noy on their website. They'll know the part number (although they may want you to buy it from them, which I guess is fair).

Looking at the TIS software that I have, the bulb looks like a standard instrument cluster bulb that can be purchased from any local parts store. If I were you I would call the dealer to ask them if that is the case. I have built up a good relationship with my local dealer and for things like bulbs and disposible pieces, they give them to me for free. Good luck.
I think i will stop by the dealer sometime and see what they got and perhaps see about getting it installed if it is the bitch that xxx made it out to be... I may go for it my self I got a chiltons that describes how to get it out but thats about it.
The hard part is getting the cluster out. Seems I have to remove the damn steering wheel. And I currently lack the tools to get that off. I will need a torx 30.. So it will have to wait a little while. and the dealer said there are 3 diffrent lights back there and didn't know exactly which one I need...
