For any engine swap, you'll need:

Engine
Tranny
wiring harness for engine
ECU

Is your car a 5 speed? Auto?
If your car's an auto and you want a 5 speed, there's all kinds of plumbing you'll need to do, you'll have to get the clutch master and slave cylinders, the pedal, the wiring for the pedal, etc...

Does the 318 use the same diff as the 325? If not you'll need that too.

Basically, the cost of doing a swap like that is greater than just buying a 325.
Food for thought.

yeah i would buy a 325, are you really attached to the looks of the 318? take the parts off teh 318 you like and put them on the 325! i think it would be cheaper to buy... anyways its an inline 6 not V

You'll also need a 6 cyl clutch kit, differential, tranny brace, exhaust system, computer, engine, springs, shocks, convert all the engine mounting locations, etc etc.

It's a better idea to sell your current car and buy a 325. It would only be worth it if you had spent lots of money on your car and parts aren't swappable.
