Hello, i would greatly apprciate it if you guys could help me out, i have a 92 318i and i would like to put a 2.5 v6 engine in it from a 92 325i.* How hard would it be? what would i need to change? if you guys can help me out i would grealty appreciate it!
ok THANKS FOR THE HELP
For any engine swap, you'll need:
wiring harness for engine
Is your car a 5 speed? Auto?
If your car's an auto and you want a 5 speed, there's all kinds of plumbing you'll need to do, you'll have to get the clutch master and slave cylinders, the pedal, the wiring for the pedal, etc...
Does the 318 use the same diff as the 325? If not you'll need that too.
Basically, the cost of doing a swap like that is greater than just buying a 325.
Food for thought.
