Need weathershields 318i 1994 HELP!!!!!! - BMW Forum

Hi All

I am after a set of weathershilds for a 1994 series3 318i E36 sedan.

Do you know how impossible they are to get here in Australia, I have tried everywhere including BMW and have been told they do not make a set

I have even emailed the makers of them here in oz and even they say they don't know of ever seeing a BMW with them on.......

Does anybody out there know where or who I may be able to get some from.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Geeze, being from from the UK I thought you might know of them with all the rain you get over there

, they are attached to the outer window frame to keep the rain out on rainy days and you can have you window down a little bit to let some fresh air in without letting any rain in.......

YEP THAT'S THEM ALRIGHT..... over here we call them weathershields, never thought to look for wind deflectors

, is the E36 Saloon sedan the same as the series3 sedan 318i??????

Saloon (UK -Europe), Sedan ( USA,AUS,CAN etc), like .....hood - bonnet or boot-trunk, depends where you are in the world but yes the same....

My friend I thank you very much for that. now all I need to know from them is how much to ship them over here and I will be set, as you ""CANNOT"" buy them over here anywhere....and they are cheap as well.

just recieved an email about them, they do not deliver to Australia....might have to get someone over there to post them to me......oh well it might take longer than I thought......

Thats odd???? do you mean the link in post#9 as they have their own calculator for countries...I put in Australia and it came up with a price ???

This was their response:

I'm really sorry but we do not deliver in Australia. It is out of reach for our courier. Anyway, the deflectors might arrive broken after such a long journey. Despite proper packing, they arrive broken across the UK.

yes I seen that as well, I have some friends to whom collect stamps in the UK and I might contact them to see if can buy them and ship them over, at least then they might arrive safely and unbroken.

That's the best way buy the ones here in the UK via one of your friends, then get them to forward them to you, at least they can make sure they are packed well enough for a transatlantic journey,.
