Need Tires!!!

hey guys, i'm still on my debate of trading my wheels, but I want to try something to see if it works out.
Well my 318 has Continentals 205/50/R17, and from what i've reseached and experience.... THESE TIRES SUCK A$$ n

so now i need some suggestions on tires (what brand and size)
What tires do you guys have on 17"?
I heard Bridgestone Potenzas or Michelin Pilots are better than the Conti's.
I would appreciate any recommendations

I have Toyo Proxes T1-S's and I love them.

I have 235-40-17s on my wheels however I am going to go up a size when I wear them out.

You might want to give the priilli pzero nero m/s's a try, they were rated best in the ultra high preformance all season tire.
I have about 900 miles on them and I've shaved off a few layers and they are handling great compaired to my last 3 sets, quiet ride too, they don't have much road noise.

It all depends of the quality of the road you drive on, the kind of driving you submit your car too and the climate. The Michelin Pilots are the best but are more expensive and dont look sexy on the car. Bridgestone are good the first 6000 miles then make noise when you reach the second layer. Continental and Dunlop are good too depending ont he location and date of production (malaisian, american, japanese, ... 2004 and up)

well where i drive there's plenty of patched roads and some minor potholes, so when i pass thru them the car feels like its in some safari
so i've heard that tires make some difference as far as ride quality.
Also, if i get wider tires like 225s would that help in comfort?
