Has anyone here tried out the newBavarian Autosport Coil-Over Suspension Kit?? (www.bavauto.com ) Right now i have a pair of eibach pros waiting to be put on my car but i was going to wait and buy some koni SA's. I then ran across this in the Bav. Auto. magazine today and i was kind of interested concitering its a great price ($699) from a well known company. Should i trust it? Has anyone tried it or know any of the spec's on this set up? The site doesnt give much info. Do you all think i should stick with my orginal plan or try this out? Any help would be greatly appriciated.
I drive a '90 (e34) 525i, I'm usually around Fern Creek, UofL, UPS ... I rarely come out to St. Matthews (always at school or work).
As for the coilovers ... Eibach seems like a better choice than BavAuto. People had a lot of troubles with cars bottoming out (springs too soft) on BavAuto springs ... who knows if coil overs are any better.
Anyway, I'll move this to the e36 section and leave a redirect -- you might get more replies that way.

sounds good... yeah right now i goto manual which is right next to u of l... never really out at ups or ferncreek though... thanks for moving it...
I went with the Bilstein Pss C/O kit from bavarian. fully adjustable ride height without the full dampening system. went with the pss's instead of the pss9's because i dont really do any track driving so there is no need to have the dampening kit. Car handles awesome! Take just about any corner as fast as i please without any lose of traction. Kit runs for around 960 i beleive. In my opinion it was worth the money.
If your looking for a suspension to "LOOK" good... then get the crap ones... the cheap ones...
If you want your car to perform good... then spend the money for quality parts... and forget trying to make the stance of the car look good.
OFTEN: Suspensions need to be adjusted... and often enough.. higher is better depending upon the spring rate and rebound rate of the products in question and the adjustability of the system.
To fully answer you question with a thoughtful answer... I would like to know by what means you want to use this car... what are you looking for... the outcome... performance... both... looks.... ect...
Without that information... I refuse to give a half assed answer.
