need some advice with my new 328i

i just bought a 328i and I have 2 problems.
1. the ac/ heater ccomes on and off when it wants and sometimes the display lights up but the blower wont come on even when turned all the way up.
2. the passenger side door wont lock or unlock with the rest of the doors. have to do it manually.

any help would be appreciated.

I think I'd begin with the circuit(s) relays and fuses.

+1.. the compressor has a circuit that tells it wether the a/c system is over pressure or not.. i dont know where it is in an e36, but check it first.
