You have to go to the dealership. It didnt cost me anything, just time. I would call and make sure they dont try to screw you once your there.

just give your vin to the dealer and theyll give it to you. when you punch in the code you have to wait an hour or so until it submit the code. oh yeah leave your battery on.

The VIN and radio are not always connected. To be sure, they/you must pull the radio and check that serial.
