looking to redo 1993 325is need suggestions for headlights and taillights. this is my 1st bmw need some suggestions on what to look for and what would add value.
Just email them and tell them you want the "bimmerforums" package.
They are not the best ones out there, but once they are on the car will be very hard pressed to tell the difference between them and the expensive ones.
To do list:
Suspension--- researching
UUC System U TDM- 3/05
M50 manifold converstion 3/05
off to the tuning shop for custom software 4/05
Cams/lightened flywheel, throttlebody........ well lets see what happens
Definitely go with zkw euro ellipsoid headlights, they significantly improve light
output over the stock US units, umnitza and lavalighting.com, as for the corners and the rear tails, euro clear/red is a nice look, goto Bekkers.com for them.
PS I would stay away from Depo lights, they are known for cheap quality, leaking and fogging issues, hence the cheap price.
yeah DEPOS SUCK ASS! I have ZKWs w/ 6000k HIDS for my headlights and they are indeed great quality and have good output for lights...my Depo foglights on the other hand have been shorting out on me and I have a perpetual colony of water droplets and condesation living under the surface of the glass shell...

Zkw's can be had with DDE's(halos) all day long, umnitza.com, lavalighting.com, etc...I bought my zkw's with Gen V DDE's from lavalighting, had them for several years with no complaints, HUGE improvement in nighttime visability, the only thing is I turned off my DDE's and hooked up my city lights because they became so played out. If I could go back in time, I would have just spent the money on an HID kit and left the halos alone.
