After jumping my 95' 325is three times in the last week, Ive decided to replace my battery. Can I just go to any Auto Parts store for a replacement? Is it a really easy swap? Thanks for the help!
Yes, you can go to any autoparts store. They should be able to look up what kind of amperage the battery needs, and in many cases, the batteries they sell have a lifetime warranty. And some stores will help you install them. Autozone will help you put it in.
I got my battery for my 95 325i at Sears. They were really helpful and inexpensive, plus I liked their warranty. They sell Die Hard. I also know that Les Schwab sells BMW batteries but thats mostly West Coast!
OK Picked up a battery at Advanced Auto Parts. $70 includes the three year warranty, so the price wasnt to bad. My question now is how do I program my radio to work again? It says "CODE" in the LCD window. Does anyone know the code for these? Or are they all different?
