Need Lighter Socket Sleeve - BMW Forum

Nothing fits tight in my lighter socket on my 1995 318i.
Radar detector falls out. Cell phone charger falls out. Everything falls out.
Is there a sleeve or something that fits into the socket to take up the slack?
Please advise.

^^^ there is, but i dont know how easy it is to obtain. i got one with some charger or something. its a thin cheap piece of plastic that slips over the adapter. heres a pic:

Did you ever find this mysterious piece of plastic? I have the same issue with my 1996 323i.

To date, I have never found the elusive "lighter socket sleeve" from any supplier.
If anyone has better luck, please send me the information.

I did find this... there should be something similar (if not this one) for the 318...

I actually found one when I bought a universal cellphone adapter. It was in the package.
