I am looking at these tan vader seats for my 325is. I believe they should fit with not problems. My car has the luxury package but the drivers seat is really worn badly. I have been on the lookout for some sport seats and found these. The guy has a whole seat fronts and rears in tan that looks like it would match perfectly. He sent me pictures though and the passenger seat is not in that great of condition. What do you guys think?
They should match great, but I am just not sure about buying these seats because of the stain and such, where my drivers seat is bad my passenger is absolutely perfect. These are the opposite.
I guess I should also ask if anyone is looking for seats for their car, if I buy this set I will have a set of luxury tan seats, full power nad possibly a full rear folding seat that is also in perfect condition.
By the way for those that don't know, the Vader seats are from the M3's and are the sportier seats they put in those. My dads M3 has black vaders and they are comfortable and sporty(really hold you in).
He wants $800 for a full set(front and backs) and $650 just for the fronts. The back I don't have pics of yet and he said they were wet when the car rolled and back window smashed. My back are perfect right now though.
$650 for the fronts aren't bad. I would buy them if I had the money... hell I would buy torn vaders and put seat covers on them. They are awesome seats. I haved wanted a pair ever since I saw them. In fact I would even buy only the drivers side... who cares about the passengers staying in their seats during the twisties?
Yeah I think I am gonna get them I have to figure out how much shipping is too. I just spent like $1500 on the car for wheels, tires, new headliner, and such. These I was not really actively looking for they just came up. I don;t really have the money but I guess I will find it somewhere. I let everyone know how it goes.
The vaders weigh like 60-70lbs each. They are manual which cuts back some but they are not feathers. I have seen pristine vaders sell for $1200. So $650 is a deal. Shipping can run you $150-$200 tho..
It is official I bought them, My car has had quite a bit changed on it already since i bought it in November and by May it will have alot more.
The guy runs some kind of salvage operation, buying wrecked cars from auctions and such. He will actually be driving from Atlanta to Kansas City in 3 weeks to get a car and is going to bring them up. That means no shipping cost(at 64lbs a seat I did not really want to pay that anyways).
If anyone needs some M3 parts he has like 4 wrecked ones different colors inside and out. He has alot of stuff I can give you his info if you want, just let me know.
