i cant figure it out i changed the blinker relay and the hazard switch new bulbs thinking a short could be there i looked behind the glove box and under the dash but can find crash relay or anything is there a way to disable the crash alarm? i no the relay has 4 prongs if i jump the two should it disable hazards? i cant stand starting my car or driving down the road and having to shut my hazards off please help
i have to hit the switch and even then it doesnt shut off all the time and the hazards and blinkers run off the same fuse is there a way to just disable the hazards all together
My 318 did the same thing. You can pull the CRASH-ALARM relay #1384-732.It is a brown color and it is under the driver side dash. You can leave it out but your flashers won't work.If you try this. Let me know how it goes.
were is it i looked and found a orange one and changed it it was a orange bosch one and i have a guy who will pass it i just wana toggle the relay with a switch so it doesnt work unless i need the hazards can you take a pic or somethin because i cant find it
These cars have some small problems and the BMW dealers won't help.If I can help with anything else let me know.Let me know where you buy the relay and how much it is.You can check with pelicanparts.com.
yea i no more bout mechanical then electrical i looked under there but never pulled that piece off plastic thats held on by 3 screws off so i just pulled it off and there it was with another relay next to it i got a new one my bud works at the stealer so he just let me take it along with 30 door clips lol
