ok so i am driving along when i see my overheating light comeon as i notice steam and coolant everywhere. so i pull over and the ****in rad. hose was off so i attacted it again and poured 1.5 gallons of pre mix in the resoviour started it up which it was at normal operating temp and started to drive about 1mile lata i saw the needle take a dive for the red so i pulled over. tried to open the resivouir but was to hot and it kept spewing out. let it cool for about 5 mins which it went down to nor. operating temp. to a parkin lot right up the steet. sat there for about 5 mins and it start to over heat. i tried to purge the system but the collant was way way to hot and boils. i let it all come out of the tank and just let it recycle the stuff the was in the radiator and after a few it would just over heat. when i turn the heat on it is warm and it doesnt get hotter and when i run it it starts to over heat but it will go to normal oper. temp. with in 5 mins each time. but it takes a looong time to cool. what is the problem here. i check the oil incase a head gasket went but it was clean.
