Question Need help picking a chip...Newbie

So i hear one of the best upgrades you can do to your bmw or any euro car would be a chip...however there are so many and im looking for something inexpensive but good quality for that little extra gain

I just bought a 92 325is for my application

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Well if your going to do other mods, ive always heard that the last thing you should do is the chip. However, when it comes down to which chip is 'better', you will just have to wait and see if you get any opinions from people who have them

Wlecome to the forum! I also just bought a 92 325is and thinking about getting a chip as well. There are many types with different programming ratios. The problem with my car is that I'm getting really bad gas milage (15MPG!!) and not as much power. Could be the O2 sensors but the chip would definitely help.

Welcome. if you plan on do other mods then I would wait on the chip. However I also have a 92' 325i and I bought a Turner Motorsport chip and it works great. Gained about 2-3 mpg, and 15hp/10trq, + more responsive throttle. other chips you can buy are dinan, bavauto, or ebay.

You might want to check your plugs, air filter, fuel filter, and O2 sensors for that problem. but if you fix that and add a chip, you'll be good to go.

agreed. turner motorsports is your best bet, but also agreed that if you plan on doing ANY other mods, wait on the chip till last, so that you can get your chiped programed according to your mods...
