Need Help With E36 M3

i was wondering the major differences between the 95-96 and the 97-98 m3? i also wanna know if they offered limited slip differentials in these years? cause ive been looking at this car to buy next. i also hear that maintenance is high? if anyone can help me please reply thanks alot.

you might ask this in the m-series category......

but all i know is the 95 has OBD1 and the 96 up had OBD2. for the difference between the two you can do a search here on the forums and get all the info you would need. I thought all M3's had limited slip but im not sure.

As far as i know... my e36 1995 m3 doenst have a limited slip... Well im not too sure if the previous owner did change it or not, but its currently without limited slip.
