Need Help

[trinidad 325i]

I just bought a 1994 325i and the battery went low not DEAD and i jumped it, and it started, but now the radio is asking for a codeused: . the guy i bought it from gave me a 5 digit number but i dont know how to put it in
help me plz!

I have a 318I 1997 and the way we enter the radio code is too used the numbers on the radio as a key pad. Eg. if your code is 1455, then enter 1-4-5-5 and the radio should come on. Do not forget to turn the radio on before you enter the code. In fact, code should appear on screen prior to entering digits. Hope this will help !

use the preset numbers below the radio display, when you put the last digit in, press and hold that button until the radio turns on, if you put it in wrong too many times it will lock and you'll have to wait about an hour of on time before you can put it in again. if that doesn't work the guy might have given you the wrong code, you'll need to go to a bmw dealer and have them look at the serial number on top of your radio in order to get the code.

i just tried that and it did not work
but if i put an aftermarket radio(cd player) in it, will it work??

Well that was the way i got my radio to work on my old 750?? But to answer your question yes it will work if you put an after market in. It uses a different wiring harness. So you should not have any trouble.
