| I figured it was a unit.
Regarding removing the door panel. I have removed it a couple of times. YOo have to be very careful not to pull the plastic grommet from the door panel itself. In other words, there is a trim removal tool that allows you to "pop" out each grommet from the metal inner skin of the the door (a decent flat bladed screw driver works almost as well, the toolis shaped like a crow's foot and applies pressure on each side of the grommet). The trick is to not pull the grommet away from the door panel. I did this to one of the grommet locations and its difficult to find an adheasive that will hold the mounting point to the door trim.
The other thing that I thought was a rip off was the cost of the replacement gromments themselves. Once you pull them out once or twice you either end up breaking them or wearing them out and they no longer hold the door panel tight. Went to the stealer, $2.00 each. Not bad but ther are 12 -13 per door........$25 per side. Chevy would me $0.25 and available at local Auto parts store.
