Hey guys i need new front brakes and i will be buying them anytime this week any suggestions, i only need to replace front brakes, that means the rotor and the shoes or pads, want to spend around 150$, can be high performance.
If you want NO DUST and great performance I would recommend the Akebono ceramic pads from Tire Rack. You don't hear much about them but they are really great pads. No dust, no noise, and great performance. Tire Rack also has a variety of rotors available in stock, slot, drilled styles. For the street the stock rotors are fine.
just go stock pads and rotors... both last a long time, don't squeak and if you don't drive like a maniac they won't produce bad dust until they're going bad...
unless ur racing stay stock imho, great breaking power and performance for the buck and u spend < 100
do what rej and drz said. Unless your autocrossing, Stock is fine. and if you are autocrossing, you should be doing a complete brake overhaul. (bigger rotor, calipers, etc.)
I just got new front stock brakes and they are great.
