Have you raised the vehicle running to see if it's the muffler, or do you need and exhaust manifold gasket or cat gasket. These mufflers are built like tanks unless its old and is starting to rust do you see rust around where the flange meets the cat and where the end of the cat meets the piping to the muffler?
