Need DIY notes for removing ICV for M42 engine E36!!! Need Help please.

Can anyone share some notes or instructions on how to remove the ICV(idle control valve) for an M42 engine or E36? I want to clean the ICV of my E36 4 cylinder and it seems to be different than the 6 cylinder. Please help. Thanks.
