Hey guys, i found some 225/35/18 Nankang tires on ebay for 380.00. Only thing is that i have never heard of these type of tires before. Do any of you know about them if they are any good or what?? Cause i am picking up some 18x8.5 Bretyon Imagines in the next week or so and i need some rubber to through on there!! Much appreciated.

yeah, they are a decent street tire... Not the VERY TOP of the line, but they will make a nice street tire.... sold them before to a lot of people...

Nankang are decent tires...On my CRX, I needed something cheap and affordable and in the end, they ended up being a pretty damn good tire!

I don't think for the price you can beat them. I see four 18 inch tires for like $300 on ebay, that crazy cheap. I've heard they are decent.

Sounds like a Chinese brand name? Korean tires are already terrible, would you buy a Taiwanese made tire? Think how poor quality Ractive parts are (made in Taiwan). Then think about it, would you want a country who makes Ractive products to make your tires?!

Invest money in your tires. The entire car sits on your rubbers. It doesn't matter how good your suspension is, when you replaced your balljoints, shocks or control arms. If your tires are crap, all the repairs and upgrades you made don't mean jack!

Try for the Brand Kumho.. they make the Ecsta Supra 712's.... there still in the same price range, a little bit higher price wise, but not by much, and there alot better quality, as far as ratings, wear, tread, speed etc....

look into Kumho brand before u waste ur money on the Nankang, ive done research...

I had a set of Nankangs on my miata for a season. Super Super stiky, but only lasted 10k miles.

For not too many more $$ I have gone with Yokohama Avid H4 and H4S (new this year) I get about 30k on the H4's and I drive pretty "spirited"

man, those are cheap.. in every way. 380 for all four? what are you putting those on? That's a VERY short tire. Besides the poor quality, that may be the reason they are so cheap. A 225/40/18 would be much better and is a more typical size. Or a 245/35/18. The wrong choice in tires will make your car handle like sh*t.
