Anywho, the m42 is back together, almost. I seem to have missed a plug. I have this extra wire just hanging out on the intake side of my engine. It's connected to the wiring harness but my problem is that I can't, for the life of me, find what to plug it in to. I was kinda hoping you guys could help a guy out and trouble shoot this with me?
I'll include some pics of the wire and the general location, and some very dirty hands.
If you guys need any more information,
I'll be checking back in regularly to see if I get any responses and answer your questions promptly.
Thanks again!

I have the same thing but its for the secondary air pump. Could be the same for you.
Here's hoping. I'm going to try and turn it over tonight, see if I get any fault codes or anything that might clue me into what the heck it is.
Wish me luck.

On the right side of the engine, about 4 inches down. Please look there, about mid engine. You should see a sensor coming out of the engine. It may be the one. Best of luck.
The attempted turnover was canc'ed. I put the antifreeze in and it started pouring out the bell housing bottom. Right where the transmission meets up with the block. I figure I knocked a seal out of place in trying to get it tdc and turning it over by hand.
I've been busy moving and what not, so I haven't had the opportunity to really do any work on it.
I've resolved myself to just find a m3 engine and transmission, whole package deal kinda thing.
now just comes the task of finding one I can afford.
if you guys find anything, please, send it my way.
I apprecitate the intrest.
