Between the front and rear driverside window switches there is a black button next to the shifter with no picture on it, I press it and it does nothing. I'm dying to know what it does! Anyone I ask has no idea.

I think, could be wrong (trying to picture it in my head) that that's the rear window lock...if you press it and try to roll the rear window down (with the rear window switches) they shouldn't function.

A currently de-activated passenger side ejection seat for those unruly white-knucklers.
LOL, don't we all wish! The one on the passenger side is just a place filler for the Window Lock button for when the car is made as a RHD
there shouldn't be one of the passenger side. my car is RHD and i dont have a place holder on my passenger side.
it does lock the rear windows, so people in the back can't use them but u still can from the front.
the switch by the steering wheel locks all windows.

Drz was right, its the window lock for the rear windows, and thanks to that I realized the other button on the right side of the shifter is my door lock button which doesn't work!!!!!! I checked all fuses except the relays behind the dash which I don't know how to get to. Any links
