MY PROBLEM PART 3 ... THINKING OF SUICIDE NOWWWWWW

ahhhhhhhh
this is pissing me off !!!
ok so i left my car in the garage then when i came back my car is only running with 2 cylinders
the plugs are giving sparks... now i took it to a mechanic and he said their was a problem with the coil pack and wires.
so he changed it and same problem nothing was fixed !! so i told the guy to f#$^ off and took my car home without paying him (put back the WORKING old parts) then he said its the fuel injectors which i thought in the beggning he wants to charge me $700 to put them in ...
can i change them myself ? isnt it cheaper to get like ford injectors i heard that they fit ..
my car is a 95 318ic .. i changed the fuel filter and sparks last week ..
this is pissing me off.. it better be a problem with the injectors /./.
what should i dooooooooooooo

All I can really say is, have you tried any pour in injector cleaner yet? Other than that, you've stumped me.

you might as well get an M3 engine....

What mechanic did you go to? A qualified BMW tech can hook up a diagnostic "embilical cord" and tell you exactly what's wrong. Then all you have to do is fork over the $$$. Granted it wouldn't be as cheap as takin it to Joe's Auto Shop, but you won't pay for repairs you don't need....

Really though take it to the stealership and have them tell you exactly whats wrong. Then fix it yourself. You can change/fix anything if you take the time to do it.

question 1 = how much does the stealer charge to diagnose ? do they charge hourly ?
question 2 = do they reduce it from the repair costs ?

some will only charge you for the repair but it mostly depends on how long it takes for them to track down the problem. But they'll prolly charge you $50-$75 to read the codes, 1 hr labor. It seems like they charge you that if your car comes into the parking lot.

ok here is what happened
i went to this place which they deal with alot of bimmers
the guy checked it out for $45 and said that
there is a problem with the ECU because he took the sparks out and said they arent fully i dunoo like deployed or whatever.
he said it cant be the fuel injector because there is gas in there and fuel injectors dont usually go bad.
now is it true that ECU just go bad after a while ?
and if i get one from the junkyard do i need to take it to the dealer and reprogram it ?
need opinions plz

if you got a ecu for your car you wouldnt have to reprogram it, by that i mean one for a 318ic, but that pour in injector cleaner wont help you for this, like that person said but it wouldnt hurt i guess? but when you are only running on two cylinders, you probably wont feel it haha

i think i know whats goin on ... i need to change my ecu and coil pack ..
the problem now for me is that i wanna know all e36 ecu's work on eachother opr not .. i know i need to reprogram it but the model number of my bosch ecu is 0261 203 357 and this guy on ebay is selling a e36 0-261-203-484 model.

i have a 318ic if i find one for a 318i or a regular 318 would it work without reprogramming ?
