My Door Panel Fell Off

'94 318is here. Door panel came off completely because the pins just broke off, or snapped off or whatever. Anyway, I went to the body shop and they said I need a new one (or at least a new one from the junkyard). I thought I could just replace the pins and snap the sucker back on? The lady said "if more than one clip is broken, you need to replace it." I don't distrust her but maybe there's an alternative? Anyone know?

Hey... No, I had this problem... I bought a whole bag of these pins from the dealership (10 bucks for 20 of them). You have to take your panel off...

Then just take out the damaged clips if there are any, and fill all the spots with clips...

Just put your door panel back on, and snap it back!!! easy fix.. took about half hour.

NOTE: watch it when you're snapping these guys back in... If its not lined up perfect, they'll snap, or bend... Therefore causing you to take the door off AGAIN, and fix it.. They're delicate little guys!

i know that www.bavauto.com sells door panel clips for like .95 cents each.. but ive also seen a bag of like 20 clips on ebay for 10 bucks...

take a look there...

OR u can just go to the dealership!
