My Caro And E46 M3 Wheels

hey guys...i was looking around the local BMW dealership and i found some e46 m3 wheels....i was too lasy to check the width but they were 18'' which is okay. the owner said he didnt know what the deal was w/ those wheels but said he would pry sell them to me for cheap...now all i need to know is are they too wide. i think they are so i was Just wondering if anyone knew off the top of thier heads if they would fit on a e36.

i'm not sure but i am allmost positive... fronts of the m3 wheels, are 18x8 and the backs are 18x9... i think u might have a lil problem with the backs... but don't take my word for it!

check on the e46 part of the forums.. they prolly know...

the rears will rub unless you roll the fender, and even then i'm not too sure. Bavarian Auto sells them in a set of 4 front wheels sized 18x8 for this reason.

dang it ghead thats what i thought. i knew i could go up to 18x8.5 but 9 inches across wont work thanx guys. rolling fenders...and explination please. thanks again
