So my passenger side door dosent open from the ioutside anymore, but it opens from the inside. So im not sure what could be broken. Also my car has around 114,000 miles on it and it seems to burn about 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles, is this normal. I use Mobil 1 and change my oil every 3000. It also seems to make a wierd noise when i first start to take off (its a clicking noise), like it dosent have any power or its going to stall. I know its not the fuel filter and MAS becasue i just replaced both of them (and please keep the 318is comments to yourself, i enjoy driving my car). so if anyone know how to fix any of these problems..let me know.

I switched to synthetic when i bought the care 30,000 miles ago. They guy i bought it from told me that he used BMW synthetic, but he was probably just telling me that.

SOunds like he had no interest in taking care of his car, so I wouldn't listen to him either way. You probably have an oil leak somewhere near your engine, or something... ya know? It's not just dripping on the ground, it's sitting on something hot and burning. My advice, take it in for a full out check up. Use your best judgement when the mechanic offers to fix something complicated.... depending on how comfy you feel doing this stuff yourself. Other than that, make a list of what's wrong, find out the price for the parts, and diy or shop around for the best price to get it fixed (so you can just pay them for labor). Since you've bought it, did you change the gas yourself?
I dont think that i changed the gas..he said that he was using 91 and thats what im using. I have been slowly fixing stuff since i bought it a year ago. Its almost brand new now...the only thing that i havent changed is the o2 sensor. So far i have changed out the spark plugs, fuel filter, pullies, bealts, clutch fan, MAS, and the ac condensor. I have probably changed a few other things, but i dont remember right now. It seems like it has never ran right since i got it. So i guess i'll just keep fixing it until it runs like a champ.
