my bmw dealer lied to me :(

they did a VIN # check on my car, said that pre-wired for alarm was not listed, but Ham told me to go check in my trunk, there is a label that says "prewired for alarm" its on one of the carpet side linings on the drivers side, I did open up my glovebox but there was no green plug for oem alarm receiver, do i have it or do i not have it?

my car is 97

There's no "green plug" in the glove box for any OEM alarm. Somebody is pulling your leg.
