my car has 210HP right now with a chip. I want it to reach 250HP. Im thinking about putting a JC Cold air intake and a m50 eurosport manifold kit. Will the CAI be neccesary during a New york winter (freezing)? I also need a header and exhaust system. but im confused about it. Does a header and an exhaust sytem bolt onto the stock pipes under my bimmer? or do I have to buy parts to install it? Whats a better choice: Borla, UUC, or Active autowerke exhaust? what about for a header? Or is there any other way I can boost up my BMW. Please help me out.

210hp w/ just a chip....what car do u have?? a CAI will make air colder no matter what. this is because most of the air is being pulled from under the hood w/ the acception of the small amout from out side. everyone seems to like the conforti intake. its my fav right now. as for headers....you buy headers which are some what spendy...$900+ which replaces the stock manifold and the standard cat back is the pipes and muffler from the catalitic converter back. you can also my the mid pipe but depending on your car it is prty expenive too. i knwo Active auto werks has one and that supersprint has everything. every exhaust part bolts up to the existing place. me personally i ordered the uuc twin silencer cat back so far. i hoped that helped some

To answer your first ?? about the CAI. Yes, it is neccessary because a CAI is going to suck a hell of a lot more air into your intake manifold. The M50 manifold is a great idea, but before it gets in there it has to go through your throttle body. So check out the dinan website and look into a bigger, bored out throttle body to allow more of that air into your engine. I imagine your exhaust is going to be catback and that will just bolt up just aft of your cat. No big deal, easy install if you can get it up on jacks. I personally have an AA exhaust and love it. The header question I'm not sure what your asking....so good luck!
