Man I am a 318i owner also, join the club of getting beating by a toyota seinna, mazda protege, and late 90's accords . It sucks big time, the car is only good for going around corners.

I used to drive my mum's 2000 toyota sienna xle and it was pretty fast, it kicked my 1990 4speed auto 240sx's ass!

:lol:

check the specs on the 240sx and the 318i;

ill let you know right now, the 240 is about 2800 lbs (i think) depending on the trim and approx 140-155 hp (depending on the SOHC/DOHC configuration)

the 1991's had DOHC engines, plus if it it's a 5 speed im sure the 240 would win.
Handling?

if the 318's handle better than my 325is....318 would easily beat it in the turns...

used

yup, the 240sx's are definitely lighter weighing in at 2657 Lbs.
they have more HP too.. roughly 20HP+ than a 318... and 30 + Ft Lbs. of torque.

does that answer the question?
