my 1993 318is is very slow!

i have a nissan 1991 240sx, i also got a 93 318is now, the 318is is a lot slow than my 240sx why? same are 140 hps.

240sx is a 2.4l 4cyl.... and the 318 is a 1.8l 4cyl, the 240 prolly has more tourqe... and prolly weighs less... thats my bet!

I used to drive my mum's 2000 toyota sienna xle and it was pretty fast, it kicked my 1990 4speed auto 240sx's ass!

check the specs on the 240sx and the 318i;

ill let you know right now, the 240 is about 2800 lbs (i think) depending on the trim and approx 140-155 hp (depending on the SOHC/DOHC configuration)

the 1991's had DOHC engines, plus if it it's a 5 speed im sure the 240 would win.

yup, the 240sx's are definitely lighter weighing in at 2657 Lbs.
they have more HP too.. roughly 20HP+ than a 318... and 30 + Ft Lbs. of torque.

yeah the 318 is great for corners but that is about all! 240s are badass that is why it is faster! haha
