Can anyone give me some advice, I have removed the stock one and placed the new one on, but the new one doesn't bolt up under the trip pieces like the old one did, it just rests on the hinges in front of the wheels? I have no clue what to do except drill new holes. I don't want to do that because it will look like absolute crap. Any advice is very much appreciated. N

AMG can't build an NA engine that can compete with M engines, so they stick in a supercharger and say their cars are faster. BMW could simply do the same, but they don't out of principle.</span>
What kind of modifications did you make to the E46 bumper? I don't think anyone can give you advice as only you know what you did or are tring to do. Pictures would help though.

i guess i stated it a little bit wrong, it is an e46 bumper but not from the dealer, I bought it at Bekkers Import and it fits great but the 4 bolts under the trim on the stock bumper were used to mount it, and this bumper doesn't have removable trim, in fact it is all one piece with no holes. it does however slide onto two rails near the wheels and they hold it in place but it can still slide off if it is pulled. I think I got ripped off, this is going to suck. I will post pics ASAP

the e46 bumper is not compatable at all with the e36 without major modifications. Anyone who told you otherwise is lying. You'll be better off returning it and buying something aftermarket for the e36.

thanks for the advice, that is bad news for me though. I did get lied to by Bekkers. He said it would bolt up exactly like the stock one and with the same hardware. n

lol you should go get your money back, then kick the owner in the balls
man that sux, it looks sooo good on the car too. I know there is a Rieger kit that looks similar to the e46 bumper that you can get but they want about 700 dollars for it/no paint. Im done with it though, if I can't rig something up myself this company is going to hate me.
