It depends on what you are upgrading to, if you want to put a better engine from the same chassis then it wont be too hard as far as these things go. If you are wanting to put in an engine that wasn't made for the chassis then it could be difficult or impossible. I suggest you look into what engine you wish to swap out and then ask again for more specific information from some one. Best of luck.
