get another car...325/328 to an m3 is a lot easier than changing from a 318 because radiator etc is same whereas on a 318 almost everything has to be changed

Honestly it is not worth the cost. The most cost effective option you have for more power the Downing Atlanta S/C.... and a rebuild depending upon your mileage just to be sure. If I had 3.5k or 4k lieing around that's what I would be doing right now...
dont bother...i believe the craziest turbo 318 i knew that was boosting 19psi was only making high 200's whp...
